Welcome to home page of Institute of Geoinformatics, which is a part of the Faculty of Mining and Geology, VSB - Technical University of Ostrava.

This institute is focused to education and research in the fields of geoinformatics and geoinformation technologies. It cooperates with practice, participate in international projects and actively cooperate with Czech Association for Geoinformation. It has established joint laboratory with this one.
